In the last episode of Justified an art collector figured out that a supposed Hitler painting was a fake, because the people were painted too lovingly.  Having spent a bit of time thinking about Hitler’s paintings, I thought this was a great observation. A.H.’s paintings either seem to be absent of people altogether or else people are seen only at a distance.  Idealized architectural and nature, rather than real human realities, are the concerns of the Fuhrer. Mutatis mutandis, this is also true of the films of Michael Bay.
